If during your session - you are comfortable, having fun, and truly ‘in the moment’ - your photos will not only turn out unique, but will emote and tell your story through the years to come.
I am here to become your friend first - so on your big day, it feels more authentic having a camera around. I believe that is the only way to get your dream photos.
The biggest compliment I get often is form my couples after their engagement session. From warning me up front they are awkward in front of the camera, and by the end saying it went by too fast and was more fun than they could have imagined. I want my clients to know their ability to open up and be authentic is my number one priority.
What is
Dark & Moody?
In an over-saturated and. at times, confusing market- I like to breakdown how I not only see photography, but how I also view my niche within the photography space.
Dark & Moody is a shooting style. That simply means I shoot less exposed on my camera and edit the darker tones from the RAWs to have a final image that exudes the true mood of the moment. Dark & Moody will not make brighter backgrounds muted, but brings out the shadows and contrast of your surroundings to, in my opinion, emote through an image.
To me, Dark and Moody is Authentic, Raw & Romantic.
